We want you to know
Our chickens are safely free-range. What does that mean? It means after we let them have the run of the place for a while, we ended up with very few chickens. Thank you, Mr. Mink.
So in order to not only keep them safe, but also let them be "free", we installed a poultry fence. Now we have the best of both worlds; safe and free chickens.
We currently feed them commercial feed but are working on a compost solution...stay tuned.
Our eggs are $3/dozen and availability depends on their production. If you knew what we know about feeding costs, you would grin. This is not our money-maker.
